Women veteran recognition day. Provides that the governor shall issue a proclamation annually setting apart and designating June 12 as Women Veteran Recognition Day.
Prohibited discrimination in housing. Expands the Indiana fair housing statute to prohibit discrimination on the basis of a person's: (1) source of income; (2) military active duty status; or (3) veteran status. Defines "source of income", "active duty", and "veteran" for purposes of the statute.
Stay of certain eviction actions against veterans. Provides that a court shall stay certain eviction actions for defendants who qualify and have applied for housing assistance from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or the Indiana department of veterans' affairs.
Military family relief fund. Provides that, for purposes of receiving a grant from the military family relief fund, eligibility criteria shall be based on the financial need of the applicant regardless of the applicant's income or assets.
Funding for child trauma support programs. Establishes the childhood trauma support fund. Requires the division of mental health and addiction to develop and administer a grant program for certain entities that create support programs for children who have experienced trauma.
