Instead, it became another election-year political spectacle… another manufactured controversy that distracts from the issues Lynchburg families actually care about. And the outcome? Delaying this for another six weeks… putting this all on the heels of an election. Here’s what concerns me… When every City Council meeting becomes a campaign event, there’s: ➡️ Less time talking about lowering taxes. ➡️ Less time talking about public safety. ➡️ Less time talking about our schools. ➡️ Less time solving problems. Voters don’t expect us to focus on the political theater but on the issues themselves. I’ve said it before: Marty Misjuns mistakes confrontation for leadership. Governing isn’t purely about generating the next headline. It’s about solving problems and delivering results. If voters choose this style of politics again in November, don’t expect it
