Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``United States International Development Corporation Chief Development Officer Act''. SEC. 2. CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER. Section 1413(g) of the Better Utilization of Investments Leading to Development Act of 2018 (22 U.S.C. 9613) is amended-- (1) in paragraph (1)-- (A) in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)-- (i) by striking ``Subject to the approval of the Board, the'' and inserting ``The''; and (ii) by striking ``in development'' and inserting ``in international development and development finance''; and (B) in subparagraph (A), by striking ``the Board'' and inserting ``the Chief Executive Officer''; and (2) in paragraph (2)-- (A) in the paragraph heading, by inserting ``AND RESPONSIBILITIES'' after ``DUTIES''; (B) by redesignating subparagraph (A) as subparagraph (E); (C) by striking subparagraphs (B) through (F) and inserting before subparagraph (E), as so redesignated, the following: ``(A) advise the Chief Executive Officer and the Deputy Chief Executive Officer on international development policy matters; ``(B) in addition to the Chief Executive Officer and the Deputy Chief Execu
