Eliminate Sales Tax on Home Electric, Gas, and Water
Removes the sales tax entirely from household utility bills — electric, gas, water, and steam. Unlike the phase-down bills from other legislators, this one eliminates the tax immediately. Your utility bill would drop by about 7% overnight. Multiple legislators from both parties have filed versions of this idea, which tells you how much pressure there is to lower utility costs.
