Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Healthcare Education in AI Literacy Act'' or the ``HEAL-AI Act''. SEC. 2. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MEDICAL EDUCATION. Part C of title VII of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 293k et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: ``Subpart III--Artificial Intelligence Medical Education ``SEC. 749C. PURPOSE. ``The purpose of this subpart is to create a program of grants to be administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration for the education and training of medical students, medical residents, and medical faculty in the deployment of artificial intelligence in the medical profession. ``SEC. 749D.
