Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Mexican Energy Trade Enforcement Act''. SEC. 2. REQUIREMENT TO TAKE CERTAIN ACTIONS TO REQUIRE MEXICO TO COMPLY WITH ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE USMCA. (a) In General.--To protect United States commerce abroad, and with respect to the covered actions, the United States Trade Representative shall-- (1) request the establishment of a dispute resolution panel with Mexico under article 31.6 of the USMCA; or (2) require
