Chiropractors; allow to perform chiropractic upon animals without the supervision of a veterinarian.
An Act To Amend Section 73-6-1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Remove The Requirement That A Chiropractor Must Be Under The Direct And Immediate Supervision Of A Veterinarian To Perform Chiropractic Upon Animals; To Provide That A Licensed Chiropractor May Perform Chiropractic Upon Animals If The Chiropractor Has Been Certified By The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (avca) Or The Equivalent Thereof, Or If The Chiropractor Has Completed A Mississippi Board Of Veterinary Medicine Approved Animal Chiropractic Course; And For Related Purposes.
