Peer Helpers PLUS Act; create to provide counseling, education and mental health intervention in public schools.

An Act To Establish The Peer Helpers Plus Program; To Authorize The Department Of Mental Health To Administer The Program; To Stipulate That The Purpose Of The Program Is To Provide Counseling And Mental Health Interventions For Students In Public Schools Through A Multi-tiered System Of Approaches Including The Prevention Awareness For Total Health (path) Curriculum And Instructional Component And Peer-to-peer Counseling; To Require Schools To Apply To The Department Of Mental Health For Program Funding; To Authorize The Use Of A Portion Of The Opioid Settlement Fund To Support This Program; To Provide For A Reporting Component By Schools And The Department Of Mental Health; And For Related Purposes.
