Smeltzer died in October 2016 leaving a last will and testament. The petition stated that “the name . . . of each known legatee and devisee of such decedent’s estate are the beneficiaries of” a certain trust agreement which “divided the assets of the decedent in equal shares, by right of representation, among his children” and that the beneficiaries of the trust included, among others, Thomas Smeltzer and Jamie Smeltzer.
