In the evening, Barrera went to go sleep in a room and ended up on a bed with the child. At some point, he placed his finger between her labia and penetrated her external genitalia. On appeal, Barrera cites to his statement to a detective in which he asserted: On Saturday the 21st of September, 2019 around 8PM is when I arrived at [I.C.’s] Trailer. She invited me to have dinner and drinks.
