On April 14, 2017, he was fourteen years old when he moved to Indianapolis with his mother, father, and brother. Martin, who was born in April 1985 and was J.H.’s cousin, helped the family move. On the day of the move, J.H. went to his room on the top floor and fell asleep. He awoke when Martin “brushed up against” him. Transcript Volume II at 26.
