An Act To Establish The Rural Hospital Pilot Program; To Define The Term "rural Hospital" As Used In This Program; To Authorize The State Health Officer To Issue A License To Operate An Outpatient Dialysis Unit For Not More Than Three Rural Hospitals; To Authorize The State Health Officer To Issue A License To Operate An Ambulatory Surgical Facility For Not More Than Three Rural Hospitals; To Authorize The State Health Officer To Issue A License To A Rural Hospital To Operate A Geriatric Psychiatric Unit; To Provide That Such Outpatient Dialysis Unit, Ambulatory Surgical Facility Or Geriatric Psychiatric Unit Must Be Within Five Miles Of The Rural Hospital's Main Location As Of January 1, 2026; To Provide That The Decision Of The State Health Officer To Issue A License Under This Program Is Final, And Not Subject To Judicial Review; To Amend Section 41-7-191, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform; And For Related Purposes.
