State of Indiana ── Case No.: 21A-CR-01710 Court: Indiana Court of Appeals Date: August 30, 2022 Author: Judge Elaine Brown County of Origin: Delaware Category: Criminal Decision: Affirmed Judge Mathias and Judge Molter concur On July 2, 2015, Balfour and Artie Thomas decided to purchase marijuana from C.O. at his and S.J.’s home, 1 with Daveon Hendricks, Jamel Barnes, and Darius Covington (“Darius”) accompanying them. While riding in Barnes’s car, Thomas and Darius discussed robbing C.O. When they arrived, Thomas and Darius entered C.O.’s residence where C.O. and S.J. were present. S.J. sold marijuana to Thomas and Darius in C.O.’s room, and Darius then used the bathroom. Two people, unannounced, came through the front door with guns, Thomas and S.J.
