Ban Rate Increases Caused by Data Center Demand

Prohibits the IURC from approving any increase to your electric rate that exists solely because a utility is building capacity to serve data centers. If a utility needs more power plants or transmission lines to serve Google or Amazon, this bill says regular ratepayers shouldn't foot that bill. Simple idea: the customers causing the demand should pay for it.
