On April 8, 2024, Gushwa filed a petition for a protective order against Freeman. That same day, the court issued an Ex Parte Order for Protection pursuant to Ind. Code § 34-26-5-9 prohibiting Freeman from harassing, annoying, telephoning, contacting, or directly or indirectly communicating with Gushwa.
