On January 3, 2022, the Indiana Department of Child Services (“DCS”) filed a petition alleging that Child was a child in need of services (“CHINS”). Specifically, the petition alleged that Mother was incarcerated for probation violations and pending criminal charges, Child had missed over twenty-five days of school and had not attended school in the previous two weeks while residing with Father, and Parents had not provided necessary vaccinations or dental care to Child.
