Just before 3:00 a.m., Freeman and two other men walked through the parking lot, approached a man who had been driving a maroon Pontiac, and shot him multiple times. Freeman and the other shooters fled the scene. The victim survived the shooting and was still present when Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Officer Christopher Clouse arrived to collect evidence. Officer Clouse took photos of the victim but didn’t get his name.
