The underlying facts of this case are as follows:
At approximately 5:00 am on April 20, 2013, Bond and his
girlfriend, Louisa Tranbarger, went to a Denny’s restaurant in
Marion County. Bond had a gun visibly protruding from his right
pocket. Several of the other patrons at Denny’s were concerned
about the gun and asked a member of the wait staff if it was legal
for a person to bring a gun into the restaurant.
Bond and Tranbarger ordered drinks and then walked to the
crane machine near the entrance of the Denny’s.
