(“Child”), born in June 2010. The Department of Child Services (DCS) first became involved with the family when Child was two months old. In August 2010, DCS filed a petition alleging Child was a CHINS because Mother and Father weren’t providing appropriate care or supervision. Mother and Father successfully participated in an informal adjustment, and the CHINS case was closed in January 2011. Later that year, Mother and Father divorced.
