James A. Mosley was convicted of Class A misdemeanor battery resulting in
bodily injury for battering Betty Will at a social-club meeting in March 2025. At
trial, Betty testified that Mosley “hit [her] real hard on the right shoulder”
because she didn’t take off her hat during the Pledge of Allegiance, and her
shoulder was “sore for a couple of days.” Tr. pp. 8-9. Eyewitness Kent Todisco
testified that he saw Mosley “hit Betty Will on the right shoulder.” Id. at 27.
