On March 14, 2007, a jury convicted Martin of murder, and he was sentenced
to 65 years at the Indiana Department of Correction. On direct appeal, we
affirmed Martin’s conviction. Martin v. State, 878 N.E.2d 545, No. 71A030707-CR-323, slip op. (Ind. Ct. App. Dec. 31, 2007), trans. denied.1
