After starting the car, she went back inside her home. When Gonzalez-Quintana came back outside, her car was missing; she did not see who took it. Gonzalez-Quintana reported the Malibu stolen that morning. The next day, November 28, 2019, Brooklyn and Dustin Reynolds left their recently purchased home in Seymour, Indiana early that morning and returned at approximately 11:00 or 11:30 a.m.
