On May 28, 2021, in DeKalb County, Indiana, Coburn was driving a white
Ford Crown Victoria that had a temporary registration. A Garrett Police
Department (“GPD”) detective observed Coburn’s vehicle and checked its
registration, discovering that it was actually for a blue Ford Escape and that the
registration’s registered owner had a suspended license.
