Stapleton and her son were the only people listed on the lease. In February 2023, the couple broke up, and Stapleton took back the key to the apartment she had given to Williams. Even though Williams no longer had a key, Stapleton allowed him to live in the apartment with her until April 18, 2023. On that date, Stapleton obtained a no-trespass order which prohibited Williams from going to the apartment complex.
