Law enforcement observed the occupants of the Malibu meet with other individuals in a Ford Focus at a public park. After a few minutes, both cars left the park simultaneously and drove towards the south side of Indianapolis using different routes. At this time, Rucker, Risper Jr. and Williams were in the Malibu.
