The couple’s two sons, born in 2007 and 2009, were diagnosed with autism and have special needs regarding school and treatment. For most of the marriage, Husband worked as an independent contractor as a State Farm Insurance agent. During the children’s infancy, Wife spent the majority of her time caring for them. Later, she began working outside the home while also managing the needs of the children.
