Johnson was upset with Turner and Hudson for allowing their dogs “to use an empty field for exercise and bathroom.” Appellant’s App. Vol. II at 99. After making threats to shoot one of the dogs, Johnson got into a physical altercation with Hudson, during which he pulled out his .22 caliber handgun and shot one of the dogs.
