On June 17, when Stephens was at Kyndall’s apartment, Stephens saw a text message sent from Derrickson to Kyndall. Stephens took Kyndall’s phone and started reviewing more texts. Stephens saw a message from Derrickson “stating that he was going to kill” Hankins. Tr. Vol. III at 144.
