Competitive Electric Supply Starting 2027

Another version of the electric competition bill — this one starts sooner (July 2027) and lets customers buy electricity from competing suppliers while still receiving delivery through their existing utility's transmission lines. Would fundamentally change how Indiana's electricity market works, breaking the monopoly that lets utilities set whatever price the IURC approves.
