Detective Jason Briggs of the St. Joseph County Special Victims Unit interviewed R.G. R.G. reported that she had been in a sexual relationship with Gillam from when she was ten years old until 2010, when she was sixteen years old. Detective Briggs also interviewed Gillam, who admitted engaging in sexual conduct with R.G. between 100 and 200 times.
