The court began a jury trial on September 23, 2019. On the first day of trial, the parties selected a jury, the court read the preliminary instructions, and the parties gave their opening statements. Scholl testified on the second day of trial. Dr. Majd testified on the third day of trial, and then Scholl called Dr. Robert F.
