Lakin’s Auto-Owners insurance policy provided for actual cash value coverage, 1 and Lakin annually renewed the body shop’s insurance policy. In 2012, Lakin again switched the body shop’s property insurance policy from Auto-Owners to Property-Owners because Property-Owners charged a lower premium.
