After spending time in the bar, Cunningham encountered Samuel Mayberry and Matthew Perkins in the bar’s parking lot. Neither Mayberry nor Perkins knew Cunningham. After Mayberry got into Perkins’s car, Cunningham followed Perkins as Perkins drove Mayberry back to Mayberry’s house.
