Tr. Vol. 3 at 5. He noticed an orange glow to his window blinds that gave him the impression there was “definitely something on fire outside.” Id. at 7. Almost simultaneously, Daudy “heard gunshots ring off” very close to the back of his house, “almost like it was right next to [him].” Id. Daudy then called 911.
