Later, the two communicated through Instagram and by text message and eventually agreed to go on a date in Broad Ripple. Around 3:00 p.m. on August 8, P.N. and Perry met at the Half Liter bar. They shared food and each drank two beers and one shot of Fireball whiskey. At about 5:00 p.m., P.N. and Perry walked to the sparsely occupied Red Key Tavern where they continued talking and both had another beer and shot of alcohol.
