Mason, who was drunk and high on cocaine, got into a heated argument with Johnson. He grabbed Johnson by the neck while she was holding their baby, pushed her onto a couch, and got on top of her. As their toddler watched, he strangled Johnson until she was unconscious and urinated on herself.
