As a result, Givans was charged with Count I: Resisting Law Enforcement, as a Level 6 felony, and Count II: Resisting Law Enforcement, as a Class A misdemeanor. 1 Givans was not apprehended on the night of the chase but was located a few months later in the Montgomery County Jail where he was being held on other charges.
