On October 6, 2022, Mother and Father both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. That day, Father was driving a vehicle with Mother and M.M., then two years old, in tow when law enforcement initiated a traffic stop. Law enforcement discovered syringes and methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Mother, pregnant with A.J. at the time, was transported to the hospital due to complications. Mother gave birth to A.J. later that day.
