On February 26, 2024, pursuant to a written plea agreement, Newhouse
pleaded guilty to Class A misdemeanor intimidation. Newhouse was sentenced
to 365 days in the Bartholomew County Jail, with sixty days executed and 305
days suspended to probation. His probation conditions included that he
complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow the recommendation and not
consume illegal drugs or alcohol.
