McDonnell denied the theft and laughed at Hallett. McDonnell’s friend Kellee Mentzer heard the whole conversation, which was made on speaker phone. The following month, Hallett, also known as “Blako,” blocked McDonnell, Green, and Mentzer on social media. Tr. Vol. 3, p. 38. On February 19, McDonnell, Green, and Mentzer were hanging out together at a friend’s house.
