At that time, Wife worked and earned more than Husband. But, after the parties had children, Wife gave up her career to care for the parties’ two children full time. After twelve years, when the children were a little older,1 Wife returned to the workplace part time and eventually returned to full time employment. Husband earned a master’s degree during the marriage and worked full time. On July 9, 2021, Husband and Wife separated, and on July 12, Husband filed a petition for dissolution of the marriage.
