Matthew’s bedroom was in the basement of the home, and the basement had its own entry and exit from the house. Matthew was involved in a romantic relationship with Wooldridge. In December, William was recovering from surgery on a broken leg and could not put any weight on his lower left leg. His mobility was limited, and he had to use a “knee buggy” to move around the house.
