In 2014, Russell overdosed on narcotics while working on Costco’s premises. In 2015, Russell was convicted of Level 6 felony possession of a narcotic drug and placed on probation. During his probationary term, the State filed at least three notices of violation against Russell, and, in May 2017, Russell failed a drug screen for opiates.
