A few days prior, Muhammad had helped Melissa pick up an entertainment center and move it into her trailer. Muhammad returned to his home and later discovered that he had accidentally left his phone in Melissa’s vehicle. At 4:30 a.m. on December 14, Muhammad sent Melissa a message letting her know that he needed his phone returned to him. Melissa told him she would bring it to him later that day.
