D.C.II (“Father”) is the father of the Children. Mother and Father’s history together included domestic violence and drug use, and their drug use “started [with] pain pills and then . . . went to heroin.” Tr. Vol. 1, p. 106. After they had separated, in March 2023 Mother asked Father to take custody of the Children full time because she was “going into rehab” to “get off [of] Methadone.” Id. at 107.
