They agreed to meet in the parking lot of Kelly’s Soul Food in Gary, Indiana. Later that afternoon, Dunn drove his 2017 Chrysler 300 to the meeting location, and Perry arrived in a white Honda Civic. Once Dunn and Perry had parked their vehicles, Dunn, who was armed with a .380 caliber pistol, exited his vehicle and entered Perry’s vehicle.
