Tr. Vol. 2, p. 17. There, Monroe stabbed Hartz with a knife and struck Hartz with a brick, which resulted in Hartz’s death. Monroe then stole Hartz’s car and cell phone. Officers located and detained Monroe shortly after the murder, and the State charged Monroe with two counts of murder and one count of Level 2 felony robbery.
