In 2008, Barnett was convicted of Class A felony sexual deviate conduct and
Class D felony strangulation. The trial court ordered Barnett to serve
concurrent terms of fifty-five years for sexual deviate conduct and three years
for strangulation. Barnett appealed his sentence, and the following facts set
