K M v. J B, et al.

── K M v. J B, et al. ── Case No.: 20A-AD-01440 Court: Indiana Court of Appeals Date: February 15, 2021 Author: Judge Elizabeth Tavitas County of Origin: Johnson Category: Civil Decision: Affirmed Judge Bailey and Judge Robb concur The Child was born February 24, 2008, to Mother and P.B. (“Father”). In 2013, J.B. and M-A.B. were appointed permanent co-guardians of the Child, apparently as a result of Mother’s arrest for a conversion charge. J.B. is Father’s brother and, thus, the Child’s uncle. The guardianship order contained provisions for visitation between Mother, Father, and the Child; however, no formal child support order was issued. Over the course of the next five years, visitation between Mother and the Child was sporadic.
