There's two ways we could actually go ahead. That position is open now. Yes. We could go ahead and, okay, that position, but it would be on the D scale. Until further questions are answered. They produce a degree to Martha, correct? They would have. That is the only way that I see without anyone going to an e-scale. And I know with my discussions with Mr. Arp, his intention was to bring this person in at the e-scale, and that's what the discussion with her was, which prompted her to leave the position with Judge Klein. Yeah. Okay, we can't help that. We're going to go over the salary ordinance as it stands right now, because we don't have anything on whether they've got a bachelor's degree or not. Yes, ma'am. So, what scale was she on? She was she on purpose. She's currently on the e-rate. All court employees are on the e-rate. And the legal secretary position that she would be filling, the role that she does, supplies all the documents to the court. She files all of the documents to the court that the court reporters then use to give to the judge to provide to the judge. All of the initial filings, the protective order filings, the any filings that we ask the legal secretary to do, they send those to the court. And that court reporter, the position that she's currently utilizes those documents that we have, that she has produced, or I guess her former position, the whoever's in that position, produces and sends over to the court reporter. So, this position is the same level of work as what she is doing now. So, it justifies it warrants and the level e-scale based on the work output that she can do and will be doing. But you got to understand our side of it. The sour ordinance and without. You know what I'm saying? I understand what you're saying. So, there's two ways we can know. Or the third way we can table, which I hate to do, but we can table until... I think he plans on reading her in on Monday. Yes. Then my suggestion would be go open... Okay, this position would go to the D-scale. That's your choice. I do know that... Because if we go to the knee scale coming out of there, one, we're only going to get the sour ordinance and two, we're opening the door open. No, we would then... And then the sour ordinance, if the next meeting for this. I would probably be right for why I get back to the e-scale from the time she started. If you still make it here. Mr. Chair, I suggest... You can do that. But I would suggest that in your favor, you make a motion to approve that the higher level. Submit to... You make a submit to your evidence of the bachelor's degree. And I think... I mean, I think you can amend your salary once, by force, or also, if it wasn't. And you always do them by your written amendments. You pass, and then the salary was... We've always changed the salary ordinance and they've approved it. And then we submit it. So, when you've amended it in the past, did you always do it with a written ordinance? Yes. Okay. Well, that's a shot. Submit to the evidence of the bachelor's degree and approval of an amendment of the salary ordinance in your next meeting. So that way, you don't have to delay or read the retroactive pay for the higher rate. That's a suggestion. And may I request subject to either the furnishing of bachelor's degree or qualifications in lieu of the bachelor's degree to show that she is qualified in that position, even without the bachelor's degree? Well, that's what I was talking about, then. If we went ahead and okay, the position brought it in as a D-scale, which would buy you a month, that way he could go ahead and start her mending, but it would buy you a month to produce. I understand that. I would ask that it be approved at the E-scale subject to the coming back before you next month with evidence of her qualifications and skills. That would be my request. The hard part with that is that I don't think we have defined what those experience and skills would be. There's not enough information. I'm not opposed to comparing job descriptions to look at the legal secretary compared to those that work in the court and see if this needs to be a permanent change because those jobs are comparable.
